From 35W

From the south: After passing I-94, watch for signs directing you to the U of M/3rd Street exit. Follow the East Bank sign. Merge onto Washington Avenue. Before you cross the Mississippi River you will pass under the West Bank Skyway. (To park, turn on Cedar Avenue before you pass the West Bank Skyway. See parking information below.)

From the north: Take the University Avenue/4th Street exit. Turn left on University Avenue and head toward the East Bank. Turn right onto Oak Street, then right onto Washington Avenue. Follow Washington Avenue across the river. Once you have crossed the river, you will pass under the West Bank Skyway.

From I-94

From the east and west: Take the Huron Boulevard exit from I-94 (north exit only). Turn left onto Washington Ave. Follow Washington Avenue across the river. Once you have crossed the river, you will pass under the West Bank Skyway.

West Bank Skyway Parking:

Lot 86:

  • From the skyway take Washington Avenue to the Cedar Avenue exit.
  • Take a right onto Cedar and follow it to Washington Ave.
  • Take a right onto Washington Avenue and follow it straight onto 2nd Street, where you will see the parking lot on your right.

19th Avenue Ramp:

  • From the skyway take Washington Avenue to the Cedar Avenue exit.
  • Take a left onto Cedar Avenue.
  • Follow Cedar Avenue to 3rd Street and take a left. You will see the ramp on your right.

21st Avenue Ramp:

  • From the skyway take Washington Avenue to the Cedar Avenue exit.
  • Take a left onto Cedar Avenue.
  • Follow Cedar Avenue to Riverside Avenue. Take a left onto Riverside Avenue.
  • Follow Riverside Avenue to 20th Avenue. Take a left on to 20th avenue and you will see the ramp on your right.
